INTRODUCTION TO WOODCARVING

Wednesday September 29th

7:00 p.m. through 9:00 p.m.

 

If you have been intrigued with the art of woodcarving, this class is for you. We will explore the different types of woodcarvings. There will be discussions on tools that are used, types of woods, resources for patterns, color, measurements, and more are included in this lecture style class. Discover how easy it is to begin this as a hobby.

BEGINNER WOOD CARVING

Wednesday October 13 through October 27th

7:00 p.m. through 9:30 p.m.

 

Are you interested in trying your hand at wood carving? Using traditional hand tools learn methods to carve and paint a traditional 4” to 6 “ Santa figure. Bring a sturdy carving knife or use one provided by the instructor. Basswood cut-outs, paint, and other finishing materials are included. A $20 materials fee is payable to the instructor at the first class.
